Improve your gut health while sipping on this strawberry and ginger kombucha cocktail.
INGREDIENTS
For the Strawberry Syrup:
1 cup fresh California Giant strawberries
½ cup water
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
For the Cocktail:
4½ ounces gin
16 bottles ginger flavored kombucha
crushed ice
California Giant strawberries and fresh mint for garnish
DIRECTIONS
In a small saucepan, add strawberries, water, and sugar and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and transfer to a strainer over a small bowl. Press mixture through the strainer with a spoon - it should make about ¾ cup syrup.) Chill in the fridge completely before using.
Add 1½ ounces gin and 1½ oz strawberry syrup to a 8-10 ounce glass and stir together. Fill glass ¾ of the way with crushed ice and then top it off with ginger kombucha.
Garnish with fresh mint and additional strawberries. Cheers!
