Our family-owned operation was designed so that we control every aspect of berry production to ensure that you receive a year-round supply of superior quality strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries.

Based in Watsonville, California, we place concern for the environment, food safety, quality, service, and our community at the core of our business.

Our History:

• 1970 – Begins as a small start up, shipping strawberries
• 1983 – Company becomes New West Fruit Corporation
• Early 1990’s – Company expands and starts growing strawberries
• Late 1990’s – Adopts the brand name California Giant as company name
• 2006 – California Giant adds blueberries, blackberries and raspberries to lineup
• Today – California Giant Berry Farms grows and ships over 20 million trays of berries annually
